Wounded Ducks finally on the mend

Parros Now that the season is over, it looks as if some wounded Ducks are finally getting some much-needed medical attention.

Last week, tough guy George Parros had surgery to repair a torn tendon and to remove scar tissue in his right hand (see photo to understand why he had to have surgery). Center Petteri Nokelainen went under the knife on Friday to repair tears in his abdominal muscle. Both players are expected to be fully recovered by training camp.

Center Erik Christensen will be spending most of his summer undergoing physical therapy following surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. But don't worry Ducks' devotees -- he is expected to return to the team in September.

Finally, faceoff guru Todd Marchant will have surgery Wednesday to repair a fractured left foot he suffered on March 22. He's expected to be back in time for training camp.
