Zenyatta, the 5-year-old mare who has won all 10 of her races, had a final workout this morning at Hollywood Park in preparation for her appearance next Saturday in the Grade I $300,000 Vanity Handicap at 1 1/8 miles at Hollywood Park.

She worked six furlongs, and trainer John Shirreffs said, ‘She’s fine. She’s doing great.’

This will be a key race for Zenyatta because her connections are expected to put together ambitious plans to test her in the coming months leading up to the Breeders’ Cup in an attempt to build her legacy.
