Rafael Nadal, who has played two exhibition matches the last two days, will announce shortly whether he will defend his title at Wimbledon next week.

He lost to Stanislas Wawrinka in today’s exhibition, then announced that he would hold a news conference at the All England Club to discuss his plans.

After his match against Lleyton Hewitt, a straight-sets loss, on Thursday, speculation was that Nadal might pull out of the tournament because of tendinitis in his knees.
