John Force has not made a final-round appearance in 23 races in a row, the longest drought of his career.
Ashley Force Hood continues to impress. She is tied for fourth place in the NHRA funny car standings, the highest-ranking driver at John Force Racing.

Jack Beckman says the change in racing distance, from a quarter-mile to 1,000 feet, might be the reason some teams in the funny car division haven’t quite figure out the optimal setup on their cars. Not that it’s been much of a problem for his team.
