Manny Ramirez and Barry Bonds: The way we were

Also take it with a grain of salt ... people change as they age, and not every candid photo taken by a photographer at a baseball game is going to be a beauty shot. But Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez each added a double meaning to ‘rounding’ the bases as their slugging prowess improved.

The most surprising part, though, is how much time had transpired between these shots. Barry’s photos were taken in 1986 and 2007, a difference of 21 years. Manny’s were taken in 2003 and 2009, a difference of six years.
