Carmelo Anthony guarantees Nuggets will respond tonight against Lakers

If the Denver Nuggets were down after losing Game 1, a game they should have won, to the Lakers on Tuesday night, they didn’t let the feeling linger.

The Nuggets were upbeat in practice Wednesday, still feeling good about their chances to win a game in Los Angeles and steal homecourt advantage.

‘Oh, we’re going to respond,’’ Carmelo Anthony said. ‘I guarantee we respond. We’re not really worried about trailing. It’s just one game. It’s going to be a long series and we’re going to be ready to go. We’re still a confident team.’’
