April 16, 2009 |  8:09 pm

Morgan UCLA freshman J'mison Morgan had planned to devote the off-season to physical conditioning but will have to rest the next six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to remove torn cartilage from his right knee.

The operation was performed Thursday morning at UCLA Medical Center.
