It never occurred to me that Sports Illustrated does an ‘annual collage’ of all the teams in the NCAA tournament, but that’s how they’re marketing their latest set of regional covers.

Each of the five editions asks, ‘March Madness: Where’s your team?’

If you’re a St. Mary’s fan, it’s like the worst game of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ ever.

If you’re a USC fan it’s only a little easier. Hint: DeWaldo is wearing yellow. Useless fact: The Trojans are 6-2 when wearing their alternate color.

UCLA gets better placement, with a Godzilla-sized Darren Collison gracing the West Coast edition. The Bruins are also represented on all covers by a dance team member. Always a good choice. (Oregon cheerleaders have been getting too much attention lately, anyway.)

You have to love Michigan State’s Sparty the Spartan holding a Dick Vitale mask over his face. It’s like Lee Corso in reverse.

To see all five regional versions, go to the SI Cover Collection website and search by covers from 2009. If you just want to see the West Coast version, click the image and a larger version will appear.
