Pac-10 tournament participants disagree on homecourt advantage

Prior to the Pac-10 tournament, Cal coach Mike Montgomery said that holding the tournament at Staples Center could give a slight home court advantage to USC and UCLA.

"This is still Los Angeles. Their players are still at home, still sleeping in the same bed. Whatever home-court advantage there is to being in familiar surroundings, they have it. I think a fair portion of the crowd will be made up of SC and UCLA fans."

Afterward, he wasn't so sure -- but he did make fun of the locals.

Actually, it didn't seem like anybody could agree on home court advantage (not even players and coaches from the same team).
