PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Dodgers learned today that infield prospect Ivan DeJesus would undergo surgery on his broken left tibia. The rehabilitation process will take six weeks, according to trainer Stan Conte.
The MRI exam on Tony Abreu’s groin came back negative. He worked out lightly today.
Andre Ethier will be the Dodgers’ designated hitter when they take on the San Diego Padres today at the Peoria Sports Complex.
