PHOENIX - Hiroki Kuroda, a candidate to be the Dodgers’ starting pitcher on opening day April 6, was scheduled to start today against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Camelback Ranch.

Kuroda has worked five scoreless inning so far this spring. Arizona, which is expected to again battle the Dodgers for the National League West crown this year, planned to counter today with Brandon Webb, who was 22-7 last season.
