HOUSTON -- Talk about a standing headline on the blog.

Clipper Injured. Again.

They couldn’t even get through a half without another one here Saturday night, This time, it was point guard Mike Taylor, who started in place of injured/ill Baron Davis.

Taylor went three for eight in the first half against the Rockets, hit one three-pointer and had seven points. Then he collided with the large land mass known as Yao Ming in the waning seconds of the half. The scrawny Taylor would never win that battle with 7-foot-6 Yao. Taylor had to be helped off the court.

The Clippers said he suffered a bone bruise in his right knee. X-rays were negative and Taylor returned to the game with 18.4 seconds left in the third quarter.
