Alfred Aboya having a lot of fun during parents' visit to UCLA

Alfred Aboya, always reliable for a great quote, had a lot of fun last night during a news conference after UCLA beat Oregon State, 79-54. He spoke mostly about his family, because his parents were visiting from Cameroon for the first time in his career:

Asked if he had met Aboya's parents before, Coach Ben Howland said, "Just briefly, yesterday, for about 15 minutes. It was really nice to meet them for the first time. The only one on our staff who had met them was Scott Garson, when he went down to Cameroon a year ago in December. Very, very nice [people]. 'The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree' is truly true in his case."

Aboya's parents will be back at Pauley Pavilion on Saturday when the Bruins host Oregon for Senior Day.
