Manny Ramirez negotiations with Dodgers not over. Yet.

With their press release last night about agent Scott Boras' rejection of their latest offer, the Dodgers definitely won the public relations battle, making Manny Ramirez look greedy in a time of economic distress. Now it seems as if there is more to the story.

So how are they going to spin it if Ramirez actually turns up wearing a Dodger uniform by the start of the season? That's a big if but perhaps not as big an if as it seemed last night with owner Frank McCourt's statement that negotiations were starting from scratch.
