Kings’ Dustin Brown schedules his return

Kings captain Dustin Brown, who missed Tuesday’s game in Minnesota and will miss tonight’s game in Philadelphia to be with his wife for the birth of their second child, is expected to rejoin the team in Detroit for Friday’s game against the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena.

Brown’s wife, Nicole, gave birth to a son, Mason, late Monday. The baby was born early, but all appears well.

Changing diapers or battling the Red Wings -- easy choice there!
