Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti confirmed today that the club has made a new offer to free-agent outfielder Manny Ramirez.
Colletti would not confirm the details of the offer, but a source close to the situation said it was for one year and $25 million.
The Dodgers had originally made a two-year $45-million offer to Ramirez that was not accepted and expired.

More rinky dink McCourt posturing. The cheapskate has no intention of signing Manny. How gullible does he think we are? We see right through you Frank and we implore you to sell the team to someone who will commit to building a winner and not use the team to expand their real estate holdings, which is all you have done and will do. McCourt insults Dodger fans everywhere with his silly game playing. BOYCOTT McCOURT! Don't give him any more of our hard earned money!

Here's McCourt's game: offer Manny a contract you know he won't sign, count on the gullible and naive to respond by buying more season tickets and game packages, then don't sign Manny, take the money and run. Don't so be gullible people. STOP BUYING INTO THE BIG MCCOURT LIE! He's laughing all the way to the bank and you're paying top dollar to park and watch a triple A baseball team!

Truly ridiculous. Manny will pay for himself. The guy single-handedly took the Dodgers to the NLCS and this is how you repay him? I guess he wants all the money to go to the new Dodger Stadium remodeling plan. Look at the Lakers McCourt and commit to your stars!
