USC Coach Pete Carroll drew national attention, and some criticism, for his comments and tone during Mark Sanchez’s news conference Thursday, during which the quarterback announced he would make himself available for the NFL draft.
On Friday, Carroll stood by his tone and his explanation of why Sanchez was making a mistake by not exhausting his eligibility.
