Jay Leno picked on the Super Bowl, A-Rod and the Clippers during Tuesday night’s monologue on NBC’s ‘Tonight Show’:
Are you ready for the Super Bowl this weekend? For the first time ever the face value of Super Bowl tickets are now $1,000. Isn’t that unbelievable? A thousand dollars for a ticket. You throw in a few beers and a couple of hot dogs -- you’re looking at $2,500.... According to the New York Post, former Yankee Manager Joe Torre has a new book out where he categorizes A-Rod as being an emotionally needy prima donna. So that’s what he and Madonna had in common. I knew there was something.... Finally, a Dallas high school girls basketball team is getting criticized for poor sportsmanship after they beat another team 100 to nothing. So the Clippers had an off night. Give them a break.
