Lee 'Hacksaw' Hamilton wins another broadcasting award

Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton, a well-known Southern California talk radio host, became a free agent in October, but he hasn't been forgotten while he looks for work. On Monday, he received his seventh award from the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Assn., winning the Irv Kaze Talk Show Award for his work at KLAC.

Other awards went to Rory Markas for radio play-by-play, Jerry Reuss for radio analyst, Bob Miller for television play by play, Jim Fox for television pre/post game, Jaime Jarrin for foreign language broadcaster of the year, KCBS for television anchor staff and KFWB for radio anchor staff.

Kings broadcaster Nick Nickson was inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame.
