Rafael Furcal has a deal with the Dodgers

The Times’ Dylan Hernandez is reporting on latimes.com/sports that shortstop Rafael Furcal will be returning to the Dodgers.

Quoting multiple sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity (because the deal hasn’t been officially announced), Hernandez reports that the 31-year-old shortstop will be paid $7.5 million next season, $9.5 million in 2010 and $13 million in 2011. The contract includes an option for the 2012 season.
