Last call: One of the best movies of the year

"Hoosiers" might have some competition for the best sports movie of all time. Don't walk, don't crawl, don't skip, don't hop, but run as fast as you can to your local theater on Dec. 19 and see this when it comes out:

Thematically, this movie brings to mind wrestler Mick Foley - only this story is more tragic. Most people dis wrestling because they say it's "fake". Having participated in amateur wrestling and been on the wrong end of a badly executed choke slam, I have to say that it's much more difficult to perform moves that appear to be devastating than simply pummeling someone. And I don't get the appeal of this "Extreme Cage Fighting". Where's the entertainment value of watching a couple of guys rolling around on the mat like a couple of frustrated dogs fighting over a bone?
