Luke Walton's stalker pleads no contest, sentenced to probation

Luke Walton drives against the Celtics' Paul Pierce.

An El Segundo woman pleaded no contest Friday to one count of misdemeanor stalking involving Lakers forward Luke Walton. She was ordered by a judge to stay away from him for three years.

Stacy Elizabeth Beshear, 35, entered the plea in a Torrance courtroom.

She was arrested in September after pulling up to Walton's car and pretending to fire gunshots at him, authorities said.

Judge Hector Guzman ordered Beshear to three years probation and weekly counseling sessions for a year. Guzman also ordered her to stay away from Walton's home and Lakers games and practices.

Walton, 28, is in his sixth season with the Lakers.
