Francisco Rodriguez set to leave Angels, join Mets

Multiple reports, including one by The Times' Mike DiGiovanna, have a deal between closer Frankie Rodriguez and the New York Mets virtually done.

Rodriguez reportedly is getting a three-year deal for $37 million, though some are suggesting that there might be a vesting option for a fourth year.

The Angels say they have other options.
