Warren Sapp is a 'Dancing' diva!

November 12, 2008 |  4:07 pm

Warren Sapp and his dance partner Kym Johnson perform on Warren Sapp reportedly has not been the most popular "Dancing with the Stars" contestant. Ever.

Reportedly Sapp has not treated professional male dancers and production assistants with much respect. I reported in another Fab Forum blog post that even when he was an NFL player, it was never a treat to interview Sapp. Let's just say Altoids would have been Sapp's friend.

So "DWTS" fans may be interested in Sapp's answer to a viewer's question submitted to Showtime's "Inside the NFL" that airs at 9 tonight.

The questions for Sapp: (On rumor that Sapp is a diva on "Dancing with the Stars")?

Sapp's answer:

"I’ll tell you what. I have to be honest about the diva thing. I am a little eccentric at times. I like cold water and in California they like it room temperature. And as a 300-pound man I needed a little cold water. So they gave me a big cooler and they put on it 'Warren’s Water,' so I guess that’s where they get that from. If a big fella needing cold water is being a diva, then diva I am."

Yep, it was all about the cold water.

Sapp has made it to Monday's semifinals, by the way.
