Remember there's still time to vote in the "10 greatest L.A. Lakers of all time" balloting. Send your list of the 10 best to houston.mitchell@latimes.com or leave it in the comment field below. They had to have played in L.A., so, George Mikan isn't eligible.
Speaking of the Lakers, how hated are they in Sacramento? Watch this, especially at the end.
And finally, I can't tell you how we acquired this exclusive footage, but, in honor of NHL summaries returning to the paper, here is some secret video tape of a recent Kings' practice:
-- Houston Mitchell

Wilt
Kareem
Elgin
Magic
Jerry
Kobe
Shaq
Gail
Worthy
Pau
Here is a list of ten. You have to think that more than one are on this present team, so I went with Pau.

Too many Lakers to just pare it down to 10 I left out Fisher, Byron Scott, Norm Nixon, A.C.Green, Kurt Rambis, Pau Gasol, Spencer Haywood, Jim Chones, and #11 on my list: Mychal Thompson.
Still: Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Jerry West, Wilt, Baylor, Worthy, Cooper, Wilkes, and Shaq made my list.

I am thrilled that NHL summaries are rightfully returning to the paper, but the sad part about this video is that some misguided members of the Times Sports staff no doubt believe it to actually be footage from an NHL practice. I'm talking to you T.J., Bill P., Kurt, Bill D., Diane, etc.
