Allen Iverson: practice, practice, PRACTICE!

November 5, 2008 |  8:45 pm

Allen Iverson

If you missed Allen Iverson's news conference to talk about being traded to the Detroit Pistons, there was one very funny segment that even had Iverson laughing.

It had to do with practice. Iverson, who has the third-highest scoring average in NBA history, does not have high regard for practice. It's only practice. Practice! I mean, we're talking PRACTICE! We know how he feels about practice because of a well-publicized 2002 press conference in which the subject came up.

First, watch this clip from Tuesday's news conference with Pistons GM Joe Dumars. Then watch a clip from the 2002 press conference. when he was with the 76ers. Tuesday proved Iverson has a great memory and great sense of humor.
