Manny Pacquiao to give away turkeys on Sunday

November 19, 2008 |  3:30 pm

Manny Pacquiao will hand out free turkeys noon Sunday at the community center outside Los Angeles' Lake Street Park in Historic Filipinotown, 227 N. Lake St. just west of Alvarado Street.

In announcing the distribution under the headline "Fowl Play," Pacquiao's publicist wrote that the fighter wanted to thank "his loyal fans who have been so supportive of him as he trains for the biggest fight of his life."

World lightweight champion and top pound-for-pound fighter Pacquiao is currently training in Hollywood for his Dec. 6 welterweight bout against Oscar De La Hoya in Las Vegas.

Said Pacquiao: "I can't think of a better way to express my appreciation to my American-based fans, who have embraced me, than by sharing my good fortune with them."

That is how our beloved champion appreciate his fans by giving back even small thing...thst is why they loved him so much...keep it up manny.....

manny pacquiao is such a great person...ever since he never predicts any knock out in his opponent...he just said that he only do his best to make the people happy...
my family and i pray for his victory over oscar dela hoya..,we hope for that!!!!

This is one of the many reasons
Why Pacman is adorned by the millions fans and stands out in the Boxing World.. because of his Generosity.

God Bless on your coming Fight and i know that you'll be Victorious!

MP by 9th Round TKO

manny dont forget us his/her fans and we me must not forget him thru thick and thin,we must back him all the way win or lose and with no pre conditioned.

Manny that's a fantastic way of showing respect and care to your fans...Keep it up and hope to see your hands raised in victory against oldh in a very sensational manner...

that's the way of making sipsep .. there's a lot of poor families in his hometown ..why not helping them first by giving food or gifts to them rather than this people here in USA?

Hey xmen what are you talking about. He has donated alot of money back to his hometown. Giving away free turkeys is nothing compared to the millions he gave to his hometown. If you didnt notice its also in Filipinotown so those are his people too. If it wasnt for the people here in USA buying the PPV he wouldnt be making millions.

hex ur a perfect example of a person who have a crab mentality complex.. y cant u just accept that manny have a good heart, way u go manny..!!

MESSAGE TO MANNY PACQUIAO:

MANNY REMEMBER YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR COUNTRY AND THE NEXT GENERATION OF FILIPINOS WILL REMEMBER YOU AS THE ONLY FILIPINO WHO UNITES ALL FILIPINOS ALL OVER THE WORLD!

LET'S WAVE THE FILIPINO FLAG!
