‘Dancing With the Stars’ picked the right winner

‘Dancing With the Stars’ voters and judges always get it right.

This year’s winners should have been model/talk show hostess Brooke Burke and her ethereal pro partner Derek Hough.

And on Tuesday night, they were.

Former Super Bowl winner Warren Sapp and his partner, Kym Johnson, finished second. At least Warren didn’t have to answer the same lame question that athletes always hear, particularly after a championship win.

‘How does it feel?’

That’s what host Tom Bergeron asked Burke and Hough.

Yikes.

And sports writers get a bad rap. I’m guessing Bergeron gets paid a lot more money than the typical (and even the atypical) sports writer. And that’s the best question he could come up with?

If only Warren had won.

I’ll bet he would have had a good answer. Might not have been printable. But good.
