The Lakers are hosting the Denver Nuggets at 7:30 p.m., and The Times’ Broderick Turner will be blogging the game live from Staples Center. Look for his quarter-by-quarter updates on the Fabulous Forum. (By the way, The Times’ website will not be updated for portions of the night because of maintenance. Apologies in advance.)

The Nuggets are 7-1 since acquiring point guard Chauncey Billups from Detroit for guard Allen Iverson. So this should be an interesting game.
