Ohio State-Purdue, why?

While doing much channel-flipping here I suddenly realized I can’t find the Notre Dame-North Carolina game. I can always find the Notre Dame game, even when I don’t want to. But today I was kind of interested. North Carolina seems improved, how’s Jimmy Clausen doing, is Charlie Weis upright, limping, on crutches?

And it took a few channel flips before I realized ESPN has chosen to show us in SoCal the Ohio State-Purdue game. Huh? Notre Dame is an upcoming USC opponent. Notre Dame, I believe, has quite the following in this area. USC has already humbled Ohio State so why would we want to see the Buckeyes on television anymore? And every time I flip, somebody in that deadly game is kicking a field goal. But the crawl on the USC-Arizona State game on ABC keeps telling me I can watch Notre Dame vs. North Carolina on ESPN.

No, I can’t. So don’t tell me I can.

Meanwhile, North Carolina is leading Notre Dame, 29-24. That seems interesting. Wish I could see it.
