Kings GM Dean Lombardi will meet with coaches on Friday to discuss whether to send rookie forward Oscar Moller back to his junior hockey team.

Indications are that Moller has a 50-50 chance of staying with the Kings, though Coach Terry Murray said it would ‘take a couple of real duds by Oscar for us to send him back.’

The Kings can keep Moller through the first nine games of the season before they have to decide. Game 10 is Saturday. A decision is expected Friday afternoon.

Last season, Moller played for the Chilliwack Bruins of the Western Hockey League.

‘Oscar has shown us the composure and the ability to be an NHL player,’ Murray said but added, ‘there’s really no down side to sending a kid back to finish out his juniors either.’
