Ducks' Selanne gets hats; octopus hits ice

The Ducks' Teemu Selanne continues to take the "fin" out of "finished."

The 38-year old Selanne came up with the 21st hat trick of his career against the Detroit Red Wings Wednesday night, bringing the Ducks back from a 3-1 deficit. Selanne scored his third goal post sitting, chipping in a Chris Pronger pass to tie the score, 3-3, 4 minutes 50 seconds into the third period.

It was the 12th hat trick as a Duck for the Finnish Flash. It took a minute for Duck fans to realize it before flipping hats onto the ice. Moments later, a Detroit Red Wings fan tossed an octopus onto the ice. The Ducks will probably keep the hats and ditch the seafood.
