Colt McCoy-Graham Harrell in Heisman showdown

The game on Saturday in Lubbock between Texas and Texas Tech might not only decide the Big 12 South winner, and thus potential BCS championship game finalist, but also the Heisman Trophy winner.

This week’s HeismanPundit/Orlando Sentinel poll has Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy as the leading contender, unanimously for the second consecutive week. But Texas Tech Red Raiders quarterback Graham Harrell is second.

At least one voter said McCoy is a lock for the award if Texas wins. If Texas Tech wins, Harrell probably would become the leading contender.
