Br-r-r-aseball is a cold, cold thing to Rays as Phillies win 4-3

Rays

Seeing Pennsylvania native and Tampa Bay Rays Manager Joe Maddon bundled up tonight as his team tried to pull out a victory to extend the World Series to a Game 6 is a reminder how cold it got in Philadelphia tonight.

Who knew that ear flaps on a baseball cap could look good -- or would be needed?

"I don’t like the cold weather. I grew up in it but I’m not digging it at all," Maddon said before the game. "It would better if the Eagles and the Bucs would take the field today. It would be much more appropriate."

According to the Weather Channel's interactive map of the Philadelphia area, it was 42 degrees Fahrenheit at 6:20 p.m. Pacific time.

It no doubt feels a lot colder now to the Rays, who just lost to the Phillies, 4-3. And the Phillies couldn't care less right now about the weather.
