Wow, that special UCLA strategy of marketing (begging) Fresno fans to come to the Rose Bowl seems to have worked well.

On my way from the parking lot to the press box I’d estimate the split between red-clothed and blue-clothed fans as 60-40 in favor of red clothed.

And Fresno State did something Ohio State couldn’t be bothered to do a couple of weeks ago at the Coliseum -- it brought the band. That’s what happens when you bring in a real football school as your opponent.
