De La Hoya-Pacquiao fight is sold out

It took only two hours of ticket sales before publicists announced that the Dec. 6 Oscar De La Hoya-Manny Pacquiao bout at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas had sold out.

The nearly 16,000-seat facility generated a gate of almost $17 million for De La Hoya's 2007 split-decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr., the second-largest gate in boxing history.

"No one wants to miss this one," said Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum, who will reap the financial rewards of once again being connected to De La Hoya after years of promoting the Golden Boy's career.

That should silence the anti Pac vs ODLH people who say that the fight is a mismatch. The people who bought those tickets prove otherwise

Wow.... Im getting excited to this Fight!!!

This is just a reality of how excited this figth will be, those anti Pac vs ODLH people are simply jealous for what will be a breaking record in boxing history.

there were reports that only 500 tickets go on sale..

maybe most of the tickets were held so they can sell it at an extremely higher price at the blackmarket...

haha good business thinking guys!!!
in this way promoters earn a lot more for themselves..
the boxers' cut in gate attendance would be based only on the percentage of the ticket sales having its real price..

just a personal thought,

we just can't imagine that this would happen but the reality it is happening right now! oscar dela hoya is one of the legend of mexico after beating one of the legend. pacquiao also came to the name " peoples champ " after beating the legendary mexican hero the peoples champ. and if you turn into the events of history of boxing its going to be a war of country between philippines vs. mexico!.expect this megabuck fight of the century will be among'st the best of the best in boxing history!!!
