D.C. United to make a fashion statement

September 30, 2008 |  4:33 pm

Jaime MorenoD.C. United plays Chivas USA at RFK Stadium on Saturday (4:30 p.m. (PST), FSC, FSE) in a match with huge playoff implications for both Major League Soccer teams.

Of lesser import, but not without interest, will be the silent auction for charity of 2008 game-worn jerseys autographed by D.C. United players.

Which leads to this question: Whose names are likely to be bid on the heaviest?

Here’s one opinion: Jaime Moreno will lead the pack by a Bolivian country mile, followed by Ben Olsen, Luciano Emilio, Marcelo Gallardo, Ivan Guerrero and, of course, Fred.
