Improv Everywhere is an improvisation group based in New York that stages what it calls ‘scenes of chaos and joy in public places.’ One of its most recent examples was planting a fan at Yankee Stadium who, with a handful of hot dogs and beer, pretended that he couldn’t find his seat.

And on the Improv site, there’s a terrific video called ‘Best Game Ever’ featuring NBC’s Jim Gray and a kid’s baseball game in Hermosa Beach from several months ago. The mission: Without letting kids or fans at the game in on the prank, they turned this otherwise normal kids’ ballgame into a Major League event.
