Media clash

Phil Spector’s wife traded heated words with Judge Larry Paul Fidler Monday morning, after the judge repeated an earlier order that she must not talk about the case to the media.

Fidler had told Rachelle Spector, 27, to stop speaking to the news media after she was interviewed on Court TV last week defending her husband.

On Sunday, Rachelle Spector sent an e-mail advising recipients that she had posted the video interview on her personal website.

Referencing the e-mail, Fidler told her “Ma'am, I am going to do something I have never done before ... You will not talk to the press. If you do, you will be in violation of my order.”

Rachelle Spector immediately shot back: “But I’m not a witness,” then added, “Is it okay for Louis (Spector’s son) and all the other bad people to say stuff?”

Fidler repeated his order forbidding media statements with a warning: “If you violate my order, be prepared for the consequences.”

Fidler also addressed alleged statements by Phil Spector published on various foreign websites. The statements, attributed to several British tabloids, include criticisms of the judge and jury.

Spector is quoted as saying the judge does not like him, and that the jurors were against him and “all voted for George Bush.”

Spector attorney Linda Kenney Baden said in court this morning that Spector never made such statements, and asked the judge for permission to speak to the media to refute the alleged remarks.

Kenney Baden said the defense feared jurors might be prejudiced against Spector if they saw the reports. Spector “does trust the jury,” she said.

Fidler said he would ask jurors if they had seen the reports, but refused to make a finding that Spector did not give such an interview.

Why has the media almost completely ignored the way our court system allows victimized women to be treated. Even when it has nothing to do with their testimony they are attacked as having loose morals. Linda Kenny-Baden made a big deal in her closing of the reality that the five prior act women never took Phil Spector to court. Well, look at how she has attacked them once they came to court. One of the v She implied that one of the victims was a prostitute because that was how hotel security treated her for being with Phil Spector. Baden knew this was not true but through it out to the jury anyway. The loose morals attack on women still lives, and is easier to do with a woman lawyer. Baden's treatment of the other four women was nearly as sickening. Then she claims that Phil Spector was no longer interested in Lana Clarkson and was through with her since she had "serviced" him. This based on a tiny amount of her DNA on his scrotum. Hopefully, the jury will undertsand that sex would have transferred a lot more DNA back and forth. Are will still in the Victorian age when women are not to enjoy life but for servicing men? It is bad enough that a man who continually threatens women with guns can walk the streets freely, but do our courts have to let them be dragged through the mud and victimized as loose women? Imagine if a working class guy from Compton or an immigrant farm worker had Phil Spector's history but not his money. He would have been convicted long ago. These are important issues brought to light by this celebrity trial. Please cover them.

OH ! My,My : The case is now in the hands of the jury . MY doggy and I as bias as we are were perturbed at one of the Court TV hosts who made the statement in the Last Word ! The prosecution could not put the gun in Phils hand " and DR. Spitz stated that there was no video of the event " Well the limo driver DeSouza seen the gun in Phil's right hand with a line of blood. ( therefore the gun should have had Phil's fingerprints on it ) BUT ! a miracle took place, his prints were gone and wiped then Lana print was on it , and the gun was laying next to her left shoe . Oh, My could this be a staged scene ? Why did the limo driver run off ? Maybe he thought Phil would shoot him also ? In the voice recording of the 911 tape, DeSouza states what he heard ! and also states he seen the gun held by Phil and also that he was scare as to the reason he fled . With all this, there is a instruction concerning TAMPERING with the evidence and how the jury is address this , Oh,MY. My doggy and I feel , this is as good as placing the gun in Phil's hand. ( his print should have been over hers ) Phil is guilty and I hope the jury also agrees IT TIME TO PAY THE PIPER . Again I wish to thank the Los Angeles Times and K.T.L.A. ( Marta and Lonnie ) for allowing the Public to become involved . MY doggy is waving his paw By,By Woff . ( JW where are you ? )

Phil better get used to having a new roomate--I hear the accomodations at Corcoran aren't that nice. It's the GUN, JL JW and all you other Spector supporters. That the jury was asking for the GUN on the first day is a good sign for justice.

It's a very simple case. Phil shot her. Now it's time to put Spector in jail where he belongs. Hopefully he'll die there.

Cable Courtv news is making a big deal of Mr. Spector waving a sign of victory at the helicopter TV news, even suggesting that he had paid for the service. Well, I am sure Mr. Spector is very happy that he won the first round. However, obnoxious, high drama and out of breath Ashley Banfield, was so unprofessional when interviewing Foreman juror #10. She was cutting him off and putting words in his mouth. Where is Jack Ford !! Ashley, there was not enough blood splatter on Mr. Spector jacket, no fingerprints on the gun, no gun residue, HELLO ! . . . COMMON SENSE REASONABLE DOUBT! Even if
Mr. Spector wiped cleaned everything, the prosecution's forensic investigators would've found something. They did not. Remember,
Mr. Spector was very intoxicated.
