The return of Cutler
Stuart James, a leading bloodstain pattern analyst, is in the courtroom for the defense. At the snail's pace witnesses are proceeding, it is unclear he will make it onto the witness stand today. James has been brought in to bolster the defense's position that bloodstains on Spector's jacket show he was standing too far from Lana Clarkson to have held a gun in her mouth and shot her.
Also unclear is whether the presence of James signals the defense may not call Henry Lee, though the defense attorneys insist Lee will testify. Lee's credibility was called into question by testimony he may have removed evidence from the crime scene, a controversy that led to a former defense attorney testifying under threat of jail.
Bruce Cutler, who began the trial as Spector's lead attorney but has been absent from the trial for weeks, developing a television show, has also returned today.

WHY does everyone assume P.S. had the white jacket ON when L.C. was shot? IT makes more sense the jacket was laying on the table with the blood splatter hitting the TOP of jacket. He THEN put the jacket on leaving blood on the inside. As to finger prints NONE ON GUN. he wiped it off, remember the limo driver seen him holding the gun. Concerning the gun experts, I believe they stated the chamber pressure was 20,000-27,000 p.s.i.. I recall while in the military the chamber pressure of a 45 cal. was 2,000 p.s.i. a 38 should be less (smaller cartridge)

I believe he grabbed her by the hair, pulled her head back and shoved the gun in her mouth and the gun discharged. If his arms were in this position, Phil being right-handed and assuming he held the gun in his right hand, explains the pattern of blood on the jacket.

clearly the teeth could have been on the jacket and tranferred when he went upstairs to clean up.

Well Dr. SPITZ. I listened this morning and I feel I could have done a better job. Other than general remarks, he has said nothing. What I want to know from him is WHY IS IT IMPOSIBLE THAT P.S. DID NOT SHOOT HER? I do not want to hear percentages or trashing. At the beginning of the trial P.S. made the henchman speech and the police were preventing him from giving his edvidence well NOW IS THE TIME . As to the blow back. The nose well produce little blow back for the reason there are two pinhole opening between the mouth and sinus cavities i hope the afternoon session is more constructive.

One blog I read elsewhere says that intraoral suicide is overwhelmingly a male suicide victim's action, not female, and that Dr. Spitz did not mention that.
