Immigration debate

This morning, defense lawyer Bradley Brunon complained that federal immigration officials have ignored his requests for information about why key prosecution witness Adriano DeSouza, an immigrant, has been allowed to remain in the United States. He told Judge Larry Paul Fidler that federal officials, in contrast, had been useful and responsive to prosecutors. He asked that all immigration documents be provided to the defense. “I don’t think they can take the cherries, and leave the pits,” Brunon said.
