Dueling experts

The defense has brought two of its heavy hitters to observe court today. Forensic medical experts Vincent DiMaio and Werner Spitz are sitting in the first row of Spector supporters, just in front of Spector's wife, Rachelle. They will listen to the testimony of coroners and paramedics, to prepare to make the case that Lana Clarkson shot herself and was not murdered by Spector.

Both men have been expert witnesses in high-profile trials around the country and have worked with the defense's star witness, criminalist Henry Lee.
