911 call
In three days on the witness stand, Adriano DeSouza, the chauffeur, has testified that he was terrified when Phil Spector stepped out of his house holding a gun, after actress Lana Clarkson's shooting. DeSouza said he ran down the driveway of Spector’s Alhambra mansion because he thought it was possible that Spector might shoot him too.
He called Spector’s manager, who had hired him, and then dialed 911.
In a video played this morning, police interrogators asked him why he didn’t call police first. The Brazilian immigrant responded:
“I don’t know, I don’t know. I don’t know how to talk to the police.”
