Fall TV season: Watch a sneak preview of Fox's 'I Hate My Teenage Daughter' [Video]

Fox unveiled its new fall schedule Monday morning at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced is the comedy "I Hate My Teenager Daughter."

The series stars Jaime Pressly (“My Name Is Earl”) and Katie Finneran (“Wonderfalls”) as single moms who worry that their overly indulged daughters will turn out to be mean girls.

Other new Fox fall comedies include "New Girl" and animated series "Allen Gregory" and "Napoleon Dynamite."

Fox unveiled its new fall schedule Monday morning at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced is the half-hour comedy "New Girl."

The series stars Zooey Deschanel as a quirky girl who moves in with three single guys.

Other new Fox fall comedies include "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" and the animated series "Allen Gregory" and "Napoleon Dynamite."

Fall TV season: Watch a sneak preview of NBC comedy 'Bent' [Video]

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced was the new romantic comedy "Bent."

The series stars Amanda Peet ("Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") and David Walton ("Perfect Couples") as an unlikely couple: She is a tough lawyer and single mom raising a daughter (played by Joey King of "Ramona and Beezus"). He is a recovering gambling addict and womanizer, hired to renovate her kitchen.  Jeffrey Tambor ("Arrested Development") also stars in this comedy from writer and executive producer Tad Quill ("Scrubs," "Spin City") and director Craig Zisk ("Nurse Jackie," "Weeds").

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York. Among the new shows announced was "Whitney," a romantic comedy.

The series stars comedian Whitney Cummings ("Chelsea Lately") and Chris D'Elia ("Glory Daze") as an unmarried couple determined not to let their relationship grow stale. The cast includes Zoe Lister-Jones ("The Other Guys"), Maulik Pancholy ("30 Rock") and Dan O'Brien ("How I Met Your Mother").

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced was "Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea."

Inspired by talk-show host Chelsea Handler's bestselling book, the new comedy centers on roguish bartender Chelsea, played by Laura Prepon ("That '70s Show"). She is accompanied by an ensemble that includes Jo Koy ("Chelsea Lately"), Angel Laketa Moore ("ER") and Mark Povinelli ("Water for Elephants"). 

Handler herself has a recurring part as Chelsea's married sister, Sloan, and serves as executive producer along with Tom Werner ("That '70s Show"), Mike Clements ("The Life & Times of Tim") and Tom Brunelle ("Chelsea Lately").

NBC's 'Free Agents' starring Hank Azaria

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York, and among the new shows announced was workplace-based romantic comedy "Free Agents."

Created by John Enbom ("Party Down") and Todd Holland ("Malcolm in the Middle"), "Free Agents" is based on the UK comedy of the same name. The series stars Hank Azaria ("The Simpsons," "Huff") as a newly divorced PR exec and Kathryn Hahn ("Hung") as his colleague, who is fixated on her dead fiance. Other colleagues include Anthony Head ("Merlin," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer").

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York. Among the new shows announced was "Awake," a drama about a detective (Jason Isaacs, "Harry Potter," "Brotherhood") who finds himself living in two different realities after a car accident.

Kyle Killen ("Lone Star") and Howard Gordon ("24") are executive producers of this series, which also stars Steve Harris ("The Practice"), Wilmer Valderrama ("That '70s Show") and Cherry Jones ("24").

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York. Among the new shows announced was "Grimm," a drama inspired by classic fairy tales.

David Giuntoli ("Turn the Beat Around") plays a homicide detective whose life is changed by the arrival of his aunt (guest star Kate Burton, "Grey's Anatomy"), who tells him he is descended from "Grimms," who protect humanity from supernatural creatures.

Fall TV season: Watch a sneak preview of Steven Spielberg's 'Smash' [Video]

NBC unveiled its new fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York. Among the new shows announced was "Smash," a midseason drama starring Katharine McPhee ("American Idol") as a Broadway ingénue that is already being compared with "Glee."

The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and is centered on a songwriting duo, played by Tony Award nominee Christian Borle ("Legally Blonde: The Musical") and Debra Messing ("Will & Grace"), who are trying to create a Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. It also stars Anjelica Huston.

"Smash" is scheduled to run Monday nights midseason after "The Voice."

Fall TV season: Watch a sneak preview of NBC's 'The Playboy Club' [Video]

NBC unveiled its fall schedule Monday at its upfronts presentation in New York. Among the new shows announced was "The Playboy Club," a music-laced drama set in the famous nightclub chain during the 1960s.

Executive produced by Academy Award-winning Brian Grazer, "The Playboy Club" stars Eddie Cibrian ("CSI: Miami") as Nick Dalton, a top attorney and playboy, and Amber Heard ("Zombieland") is a new bunny who gets entangled with a mob boss.

The drama is set to air on Monday nights at 10, after reality competition "The Sing-Off."

Watch a sneak preview of NBC cop drama 'Prime Suspect' with Maria Bello

NBC announced Sunday that it will air "Prime Suspect" in the key 10 p.m. Thursday slot that was for years reserved for hits such as "E.R."

"Prime Suspect" is a remake of the classic British cop drama starring Helen Mirren. This time around, it stars Maria Bello as a female homicide detective in New York trying to work around the male-dominated police culture.

Watch a clip of NBC's new Christina Applegate sitcom 'Up All Night'

"Up All Night" will kick off NBC's new Wednesday comedy block this fall.

The sitcom stars Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as a young couple whose busy lives are interrupted by the arrival of a baby. Maya Rudolph, a "Saturday Night Live" alumna, costars. The series is executive produced by "SNL's" Lorne Michaels, who's also behind "30 Rock."
