Mr. Popper’s Penguins

stars as a man who inherits penguins in the 2011 comedy-fantasy “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” at 8 p.m. on HBO.


Celebrity Ghost Stories:
 Cindy Williams, Audrina Patrige, Giancarlo Esposito, Joan Van Ark share their personal experiences in the season premiere (6 and 10 p.m. Biography).

It’s Me or the Dog:
Dog training expert Victoria Stilwell returns for a fourth season of helping dog owners solve their pets’ behavior problems. In the season premiere she works with a couple whose dog’s separation anxiety is so severe that he crashes through windows when he’s left alone (7 p.m. Animal Planet).

The Graham Norton Show:
 Cameron Diaz, Kathy Burke and Sir David Attenborough are guests on a new episode of the variety show (8 p.m. BBC America).

How to Be a Gentleman:
Andrew’s (David Hornsby) new assistant (Fiona Gubelmann) is as organized as he is, and she’s crazy about him. Kevin Dillon and Dave Foley also star in this new episode (8:30 p.m. CBS).

Iron Chef America:
 Members of the Army, Navy and Marines join with three Iron Chefs in this new episode (10 p.m. Food).


Imaginary Friend:
 A mentally ill artist begins to see her imaginary friend from childhood in this new TV movie starring Lacey Chabert and Ethan Embry (8 p.m. Lifetime).

The Ides of March:  George Clooney is in fine form as star, director, co-screenwriter and a producer of this 2011 political drama, in which he casts himself as a governor eyeing a presidential nomination. Ryan Gosling and Philip Seymour Hoffman also star (9 p.m. Starz).


2012 French Open (9 a.m. NBC).

College softball:
NCAA World Series (9 and 11:30 a.m. ESPN2; 4 and 6:30 p.m. ESPN)

The Dodgers visit the Colorado Rockies (1 p.m. FS Prime); the Texas Rangers visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN)

2012 Stanley Cup Final: The Kings visit the New Jersey Devils (5 p.m. NBC).

NBA Playoffs: The San Antonio Spurs visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (5:30 p.m. TNT).
