SERIES

Richard Hammond’s Crash Course:

“Top Gear” co-host Hammond heads to Louisiana for some lessons in harvesting scrap metal from oil rigs using a crane, which can lift up to 150 tons; the Claw, which is used to separate out recyclable materials; and an electromagnet (7 and 9:30 p.m. BBC America).

America’s Got Talent:
Auditions continue in New York (8 p.m. NBC).

Dancing With the Stars:
The remaining couples — Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd; Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas; William Levy and Cheryl Burke; Maria Menounos and Derek Hough — compete in the semifinals (8 p.m. ABC).

House:
The series, which made British comedy fixture Hugh Laurie a star — and a sex symbol — in the U.S., ends its eight-season run with one last medical mystery (8 p.m. Fox).

River Monsters: Unhooked:
This new episode travels to Africa’s Okavango Delta on the trail of a piranha-like fish with a possible appetite for humans (8 p.m. Animal Planet).

The Bachelorette:
The bachelors learn they are being tested on their promise as parents in this new episode (9 p.m. ABC).

In Performance at the White House:
A tribute to composer Burt Bacharach and lyricist Hal David (9 p.m. KOCE).

American Pickers:
Mike and Frank are on the hunt for memorabilia related to the famous feud between the Hatfields and McCoys in this new episode (9 p.m. History).

Lost Girl:
Bo (Anna Silk) is hired by the Morrigan (Emmanuelle Vaugier) to track down an artist who’s been painting murals of her and Vex (Paul Amos) and other Dark Fae all over town in this new episode (10 p.m. Syfy).

SPORTS

Baseball:

The Atlanta Braves visit the Cincinnati Reds (4 p.m. ESPN); the Dodgers visit the Arizona Diamondbacks (6:30 p.m. FS Prime); the Angels visit the Oakland Athletics (7 p.m. FSN) .

Basketball: NBA Playoffs: The Philadelphia 76ers visit the Boston Celtics (4 p.m. TNT); the Lakers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (if necessary). (6:30 p.m. TNT).

Hockey:
NHL Playoffs: The New York Rangers visit the New Jersey Devils (5 p.m. NBCSP).
