When Britta’s (Gillian Jacobs) former flame (Kirk Fox) comes to town with a traveling carnival, she asks her friends to help her resist the temptation to see him again. Annie, Troy and Abed (Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Danny Pudi) try to keep her distracted, while a curious Jeff and Shirley (Joel McHale, Yvette Nicole Brown) go to the carnival in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC).

Missing:
While Becca (Ashley Judd) is frustrated by the lack of leads in her search for Michael (Nick Eversman), he plots an escape. Cliff Curtis and Adriano Giannini also star in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

American Idol:
The finalists face elimination in a results episode featuring performances by James Durbin and Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo and Rick Ross (8 p.m. Fox).

Rules of Engagement:
