AFTER SEEING BEN with another woman, Pete (David Walton) faces a dilemma in this new episode of the romantic comedy “Bent” at 9 p.m. on NBC.

SERIES

Whitechapel: After chasing down a Jack the Ripper clone in the first season, Det. Inspector Chandler, Det. Sgt. Miles and Edward Buchan (Rupert Penry-Jones, Phil Davis, Steve Pemberton) are back with new mysteries to solve (7 and 10 p.m. BBC America).

Whitney: Whitney and Alex (Whitney Cummings, Chris D’Elia) head to City Hall to get married, but when an expired driver’s license interferes with their plan, Whitney’s father (Peter Gallagher) tries to save the day in the season finale (8 p.m. NBC).

America’s Next Top Model: This new episode finds the models in Toronto, where they try to score runway gigs for the city’s fashion week — with some having more success than others. Because they’re in Canada, the photo shoot incorporates foliage and maple syrup. Beverly Johnson is the guest judge (9 p.m. KTLA).

Nova: The new episode “Cracking Your Genetic Code” shows why the new era of personalized, gene-based medicine is both ominous and promising (9 p.m. KOCE).

Happy Endings: When an annoying childhood friend (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) comes to town, Penny (Casey Wilson) tells a little white lie to avoid seeing her. Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton and Ben Falcone also star in this new episode (9:30 p.m. ABC).

The Challenge: Battle of the Exes: The top three teams face their toughest challenge, including a eating Viking’s feast, tunneling through mounds of snow and scaling a glacial mountain in the season finale (10 p.m. MTV).

Psych: When a funeral director discovers a mistake that Woody the coroner (Kurt Fuller) made on an autopsy, Shawn and Gus (James Roday, Dule Hill) try to save his job and find out how the person died. Glenne Headly, French Stewart and Ivana Milicevic guest star in this new episode (10 p.m. USA).
