Must Love Cats:
This new episode features the Guinness world record for the loudest-purring cat, and sure enough, John’s sound meter test reveals that his purr is louder than a vacuum cleaner and a cat that hopped a ferry for a thousand-mile trip to Spain (8 p.m. Animal Planet).

Cee-Lo performs in this new episode (11 p.m. KTLA).

The Goodbye Girl:

Richard Dreyfuss stars as an annoying actor who shares a New York apartment with a bitter ex-dancer (Marsha Mason) and her precocious daughter (Quinn Cummings) in this 1977 romantic comedy (5 p.m. TCM).
