 Saturday’s Highlights: 'A Taste of Romance' on Hallmark

The Fades
: In the premiere of this supernatural series, a teenager (Iain De Caestecker) is plagued by nightmares and visions of horrible creatures (6 and 9:15 p.m. BBC America).

The Nerdist:
 In a new episode, Chris Hardwick and his guests Lily Loveless (“The Fades”), Kunal Nayyar (“The Big Bang Theory”), Alison Brie (“Community”) and composer Thomas Dolby explore the horror genre (7:15, 10:30 p.m. BBC America).

The Graham Norton Show:
Madonna, James D’Arcy and Andrea Riseborough (“W.E.”) are guests (7:45 p.m. BBC America).

Saturday Night Live:
Daniel Radcliffe hosts with musical guest Lana Del Rey (11:29 p.m. NBC).


The 2012 Miss America Pageant:

The Searchers:
 This classic western directed by John Ford stars John Wayne as a Civil War soldier who spends five years in search of his kidnapped niece (Natalie Wood). Jeffrey Hunter, Vera Miles, Ward Bond, John Qualen and Harry Carey Jr. also star (1:45 and 11 p.m. AMC).
